Nigel has been teaching piano and music theory since 2010 , Since inception his client base has grown to aroun 100 weekly clients. He has a relaxed, friendly teaching style , allowing each client to progress at their own pace. Nigel teaches piano online using zoom, skype and teams. Enquiries welcome from everyone no matter what age of ability.

ABRSM

Nigel teaches ABRSM Grade exams (1 to 8) and offers clear, precise, step by step instrunction in working towards each grade. Clients have passed over 500 ABRSM exams since his company was set up in 2010.

Playing for Pleasure

Nigel teaches clients to play the piano (without the need to take exams) catering for complete beginners though to more advanced players.

Nigel covers a vast range of piano genre (from classical to pop) either reading musical notation or playing by ear).

Online Teaching

HOW DOES ONLINE TEACHING WORK?

Internet stability has become more reliable in recent years. Nigel teaches with two cameras, one facing him and one facing the piano keys.

It's easy to demo scales, different bars of pieces etc.

Screens shots can be shared / incorporated into weekly piano notes (emailed to each client)

With Online teaching two pianos are used , one for Nigel and one for the client .
