Sight Reading

Playing the piano by ear is a great skill to have as it enhances your musical intuiton and creativity.   It's also important to have the ability to sight read music  so that you can quickly learn and perform pieces nthat you have never seen before enhancing your musical repertoire.

Sight read seems like a mamouth task at first,  but with practice, it becomes an invaluable skill for any musician.  The trick is to take it one step at a time and gradually increase the complexity of the pieces you practice to build confidence and proficiency.
